I have noticed this in ticket 112 and others as well

This is actually not a bug -

The backed looks for certain keywords such as:

added
fixed
reverted
changed
removed
commit
commits
revision
revisions
rev
revs

and expects them to be before the commit number:

for example commit 3f699e0afddab7f35cf88b8be446cddbeaa0c013
